Giving back this Christmas with The Giving Tree campaign

We worked with our clients Lewisham Shopping Centre and O2 Centre on the campaign branding for The Giving Tree initiative, to encourage their guests to support local charities and share some love this Christmas.

Our team designed the branding and rolled out a suite of print and digital artwork and lots of content that was in-keeping with the centre’s stunning new Christmas decorations.

We wanted to encourage guests to take part in the campaign and support the charities the centre’s were partnering with, to give children in hospital a special Christmas this year. The concept involved guests picking a tag from the tree, buying a gift from one of the stores and dropping it off in the donation box to be distributed by the chosen charities.

An additional, offshoot campaign was also launched called the ‘10 Gifts of Christmas’. A festive prize was on offer each day from the 1st to the 10th of December, allowing customers online and instore to get involved and be in with a chance of winning.

Our talented team of designers used glowing neon elements, sparkling disco balls and intricate festive illustrations throughout the work to make the campaign stand out both in the centre and online. Gift tags were designed to decorate the Christmas tree and inspire other shoppers to get involved and donate a present. We also produced supporting design work like roller banners for around the centre, eye-catching posters, promotional webpage banners, e-mail marketing visuals and striking social media graphics.

To increase the overall reach and engagement for all the Christmas campaigns and events, the editorial team at The Content Emporium created promotional content for social media, e-mail newsletters and the centre’s websites.
