For Christmas 2019 we were asked to create a brand campaign for our clients Westwood Cross in Kent.
The brief was for a set of illustrated characters to represent a quirky take on the 12 Days of Christmas song, and we then had to work the illustrations into a suite of print and digital assets. We worked across social media, print, website, newspaper advertising and a seasonal competition. The main hero of the campaign was an 8-page A5 door drop that detailed the centre opening hours and key events taking place at the centre over the festive period. It went out to 35,000 houses in the local community near to Westwood Cross.
Christmas was a huge success at Westwood Cross with events well-attended, and the campaign won plaudits from the retailers and shopping centre's head office team at Landsec. The illustrated character style has become a core part of the Westwood Cross brand.
