Christmas films that chime with audiences

A huge amount of storyboarding, model casting, styling and production went into these Christmas films for One New Change and Victoria. That’s not to mention the film shoot days with a professional videographer, as well as the editing process. And all of this was delivered for a very reasonable budget, allowing just two days for filming.

The idea was to create videos, filmed at the shopping centres themselves, that would spread the festive cheer and grab engagement on social. The films were used for paid ads on Facebook and Instagram, with budget put behind them to boost the statistics and ultimately boost retail sales over the Christmas period.

Investing in marketing does work and brings returns. The statistics speak for themselves:

  • The Christmas campaign for One New Change generated 206k video views (from 21st November to Christmas Eve, 2022).

  • Victoria’s Christmas campaign videos resulted in 179k video views (for the same period).

The films highlighted Christmas present ideas as well as put the spotlight on leisure to enjoy at the centres.

We use a trusted modelling agency and a stylist, who sourced the fashion and accessories.

One New Change’s roof terrace, overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral, was a picturesque shoot location. Did we mention, we’re also adept at securing locations for filming and will do all the legwork for our clients in terms of risk assessments, insurance, timings and logistics?

Here at The Content Emporium, we’re a bit obsessed with food and drink and for this shoot, the camera followed our models around One New Change’s restaurants as they tucked into the Christmas fare. Within seconds, viewers become tempted to come and try the new menus – video is very fast at making people aspire to do something and guiding behaviours.
